About me

Holiday home Property manager

Hello, I’m Claudio and I would Like to help you manage your holiday house property in Valtaro and Valceno while you are abroad or back in your country. I carry out regular house checks at your property in the area between Parma and La Spezia and its surroundings.

Managing your holiday home can be a struggle for you, especially when living far away or abroad. I provide regular checks at your property once a month in order to avoid any bad surprises. I check that the property is in order, verify that bad weather hasn’t damaged your home including electricity, central heating, leakages in the house or on the roof, check your letters and control that your property is tidy and that you haven’t had any unexpected visits.

Knowing you can have a trusted person to manage your property for most of the year, you will enjoy your holiday and you will feel safe when back home with no hustle even if you leave abroad or far away from your property.

I also like to rent my own house, you can find it on Airbnb.

The area

Valtaro and Valceno

The Valtaro and Valceno area is located in the province of Parma, nestled in the Appenines between Parma and La Spezia. The Taro valley is about forty minutes by car from Parma, fifty minutes from the Tuscan and Ligurian coast with the port city of La Spezia, the pittoresque peninsula Cinque Terre and the coastal areas Lerici, Portovenere and Monterosso.

Cinque Terre costal area can be reached via the motorway or via a beautiful route over the Passo Cento Croci. The closest airports are Pisa, Milan and Bologna.

Both the rivers Taro and Ceno offer oppotunities for various forms of recreation such as canoeing, swimming and fishing. Climate is very pleasant from April to October while a nice snow creates a beautiful atmosphere in this area during winter.

Borgo Val di Taro

Borgo Val di Taro is the main city of the Valtaro area, originally an old castle surrounded by walls. The town is situated on the edge of a beautiful nature reserve and the Via Francigena, the ancient pilgrimage route. In Borgotaro are all necessary facilities, there are lovely delicatessens with the most tasteful regional products but also the most famous product of the area, the Fungo Porcino. It is the only mushroom variety that has been rewarded the IGP quality mark and you can often find it in the local kitchen. Know more about Borgotaro..
